This project involved the full renovation and expansion of a mid-century post-and-beam home originally designed by architect Kemper Nomland Jr.
In collaboration with The Designers Bungalowe, the layout was opened up to create a more functional flow and strengthen the connection to the surrounding views. Large accordion doors and expansive decks were integrated to support indoor-outdoor living across multiple levels.
The scope included a complete rebuild of the kitchen, bathrooms, and finishes, with durable materials such as travertine, marble, and custom tile. Structural elements like exposed beams and original wood ceilings were preserved, while all major systems were upgraded to current standards.
An additional guest suite with its own entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette was built to create flexible use for guests or rental.
